“My client maintains his innocence on this charge and any other potential charges,” Caneiro’s attorney Robert Honecker told CNN. “His family fully support his defense of this charge. No evidence has been produced that suggests a reason why he would engage in such conduct. He fully expects to be vindicated when this case finally resolves.”
The four bodies discovered at 15 Willow Brook Road in Colts Neck yesterday were murdered prior to the fire being set on the property, according to officials speaking on the condition of anonymity.
Keith and Jennifer Canerio both died as the result of gunshot wounds, the sources said. Their young children, a son and a daughter, were both brutally stabbed to death.
Keith’s body was found outside his burning home. Jennifer and the children were found inside the home, severely burned after death.Art Gallagher | Filed under: Monmouth County, Monmouth County News | Tags: ATF, Colts Neck Fire, Jennifer Caneiro, Keith Caneiro, Monmouth County News, Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office, Ocean Township Fire, Paul Caneiro | Comments Off on Colts Neck Family Was Murdered Before House Was Set Ablaze
