Hanlon Honored By Monmouth County Superior Officers

Monmouth County Clerk Christine Giordano Hanlon was honored as the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #30, Monmouth County Superior Officers Association’s Person of the Year for 2018 at the union’s 11th annual winter gala last weekend at Doolan’s in Spring Lake.

“Our admiration for Clerk Hanlon extends back to her career as an attorney. She has consistently been supportive of law enforcement, corrections and our members in particular,” said Lt.Shawn Reece, president of FOP Lodge #30. “In her role as County Clerk, Ms. Hanlon is a role model for elected officials, present and future, for the professionalism and dignity with which she conducts her office.”

Reece told MMM that Hanlon was the unanimous choice of the 11 person screening committee that chose this year’s honoree.

FOP Lodge #30, the Monmouth County Superior Officers Association, has endorsed Holmdel Deputy Mayor Patrick Impreveduto for election to the Freeholder Board in the general election on Tuesday, November 7, according to Shawn Reece, president of the union.

“Throughout his tenure as a leader in Holmdel, both as a member of the Township Committee and the Board of Education, Patrick Impreveduto has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to public safety and a strong appreciation for the men and women who have dedicated their lives to keep us safe,” Reece said. Freehold, NJ- The Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #30, Monmouth County Superior Officers’ Association, supports the reelection of Freeholder Director Lillian G. Burry announced the association’s president, Shawn Reece.

Sheriff Golden Endorsed By Three FOP Organizations

Three Fraternal Order of Police lodges, the New Jersey State FOP and Locals #121, the Monmouth County Superior Law Enforcement Officers and Local #30, the Monmouth County Superior Corrections Officers, announced their endorsements of Monmouth County Sheriff Shaun Golden on Thursday afternoon, November 3.

Golden has been Monmouth County’s Sheriff in 2010 when Governor Chris Christie appointed him to fill the vacancy created by Kim Guadagno becoming Lt. Governor.  He was elected to three year terms in November of 2010 and 2013 and is seeking a third term on Election Day, November 8.
