It is an oft lamented truth about today’s single-issue activists – they put the needs of the Democrat Party above the needs of their cause.

The poster boy for this behavior is Christian Fuscarino, the Executive Director of New Jersey’s largest LGBTQ advocacy group, Garden State Equality.  Here’s his latest letdown.

Anti-Religious Asbury Park City Council Violated Constitution,  Unwittingly Supported Hate and Neglected Black People

The Asbury Park City Council, using government letterhead, made a declaration opposing a religious belief.  Government can no more denounce a religious belief than they can endorse one, without violating the 1st Amendment Establishment Clause.  They then went on an illegal bullying campaign against a Pastor.  So caught up in a mob-induced false narrative of gossip, they ignored that the Pastor was bringing financial relief to the Westside black community, something all City Councils failed to do for 50 years.

Garden State Equality to move its headquarters to Asbury Park

GSE Asbury ParkGarden State Equality, the powerful LGBTG advocacy group, announced today that it is moving its headquarters to Asbury Park in a fundraising email by Executive Director Christian Fuscarino.

Fuscarino said the move was prompted by his desire to have a headquarters that is ADA compliant and by Asbury Park’s history as a LGBT gathering place.
