During a candidates forum last February while competing for the Democrat nomination to challenge Congressman Chris Smith, Josh Welle told Democrat activists that his company, Severn Pacific, Inc., doing business as Crossdeck, was dissolved in the spring of 2017.
But an officer of Harvard Business Services, Severn Pacific’s Delaware business agent told Patch that Welle’s company submitted an address change on March 3, 2017 . The company, which Welle was the CEO of, then ignored multiple notices from HBS to pay its 2017 taxes. The company was finally dissolved last week, after MMM reported the $130,000 past due taxes.Art Gallagher | Filed under: 2018 Elections | Tags: CD-4, Harvard Business Services, Josh Welle, Josh Welle's delinquent taxes, Micheal Bell, Monmouth County News, New Jersey, NJ 4, Severn Pacific Inc | 6 Comments »

Welle the Weasel attacks MMM owner Art Gallagher
Josh Welle declined to answer MMM’s questions about his company, Severn Pacific Inc, when we got him on the phone this morning and again when we met him in Red Bank this afternoon. However, his company issued a statement to NewJerseyGlobe which blamed the company’s external business agent, Harvard Business Services of Lewes, Delaware, for failing to dissolve the company during the summer of 2017.

Josh Welle has been avoiding our phone calls, until this morning, but still won’t say what’s happening with the company he is apparently CEO of, Severn Pacific Inc.
Apparently prompted by our article on Tuesday reporting that the company he said was dissolved still exists and owes the State of Delaware $130,000, Severn Pacific Inc is, as of this morning, a corporation in good standing in Delaware with ZERO taxes now due. The technology company that Josh Welle co-founded in 2015 still exists and it owes $130,424.14 in delinquent taxes to the State of Delaware, according to public records obtained on Monday by MMM.
Welle is the Democrat nominee for congress in New Jersey’s 4th district.
The candidate reported that his company, Severn Pacific Inc., was dissolved in his Financial Disclosure Statement filed with the Clerk House of Representatives on March 11, 2018, the day after MMM reported that he was delinquent in filing that report. His FDS says he was the CEO of the company.
During a candidates’ forum in February, while he was competing for the Democrat nomination for Congress in CD-4, Welle told the Democrat activists present that his company was dissolved and that no one owns it.Art Gallagher | Filed under: 2018 Elections, Monmouth County, Monmouth County News, New Jersey | Tags: 2018 elections, CD-4, Crossdeck, Delaware, Josh Welle, Josh Welle's delinquent taxes, Mercer County News, Monmouth County News, New Jersey, NJ 4, Ocean County News, Severn Pacific Inc, Welle the Weasel | 12 Comments »

While Washington remains bitterly divided over partisan and political matters, your service stands out in your commitment to the men and women of law enforcement in New Jersey and around the nation. You have remained true to New Jersey’s law enforcement community during your service in Congress. You fought for funding for officers and resources in our communities, to protect victims of crime and to ensure that the mental health and safety of our officers is a priority in this nation. And, most importantly, you have demonstrated respect for the officers who protect us when they have come under attack.
WASHINGTON, D.C.— The U.S. Air Force has issued the final decision to send 24 KC-46A tankers to Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst after study found there would be no significant impact on the local environment, Rep. Chris Smith (R-NJ) announced on Monday.
“The joint base has cleared a major hurdle for the much-anticipated arrival of the KC-46A tankers,”said Smith, dean of the New Jersey congressional delegation who in July, 2016 led a delegation letter urging the Air Force to designate JB-MDL for the tankers. Smith was a leader in emphasizing the ideal location of JB-MDL for the tankers. JB-MDL is the nation’s only tri-service joint installation and is home to over 80 mission partners including active duty, Reserve and Guard units.
