Congressman Smith to ask prosecutors to prioritize human trafficking cases

Congressman Chris Smith is scheduled to address the County Prosecutors Association of New Jersey on Sunday, November 24, in Atlantic City.

The following are his remarks as prepared for delivery:

“Do we need more laws? Maybe. But more than anything else, we need to further prioritize combating human trafficking, especially through prosecution.”
